Awesome job, it's a good athlete that can take a suggestion and make one tweak and see a difference!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10793426804811466287noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1033989666292558880.post-88820956653053042622013-01-28T06:10:10.730-05:002013-01-28T06:10:10.730-05:00As a follow up I did the 13 this morning and tried...As a follow up I did the 13 this morning and tried it all out. I with the deeper breathing both in and with a larger exhale I felt I kept my pulse rate down by 3-5 BPM. What does this mean?
This enabled me to run faster for the duration of my run as I had to push the speed to get my HR to reach 145 BPM more so than my previous runs.
Is the jury out on this one? I'll monitor it for a few weeks and let you know. I've studied and changed my technique, am working on HR training and always have a chuckle at those really huffing and puffin on a during a run/race.
Tomorrow I've a 13km run to do, I will adhear to my breathing and try to breath deeper and see what it does to my HR as I'm running.
You're welcome to follow my blog - thisfishcanrun also on blogger.

Cheers and thanks for the tip, LachieAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05287223404686039459noreply@blogger.com
